I Peter 2:Verse 11

Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and temporary residents to abstain from fleshly desires which wage war against your soul,

Most beloved, I beg you, as new arrivals and sojourners, to abstain from carnal desires, which battle against the soul.

Dear friends, I urge you, as pilgrims and strangers upon earth, to refrain from indulging the cravings of your earthly nature, for they make war upon the soul.
