I PETER

I Peter 1

1Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen ones who are living as foreigners in the Diaspora in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
James 1:1, Acts 2:5, Acts 2:11, James 1:1, Acts 2:5
2according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with his blood: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.
2 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Thessalonians 2:13, Ephesians 1:4, Ephesians 1:5, Ephesians 1:4
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1 Peter 1:23, 1 Peter 1:23, 1 John 5:4, 1 John 5:4, Romans 15:13
4to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that does not fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,
Revelation 21:27, Revelation 21:27, Hebrews 9:15, Hebrews 9:15, 1 Peter 5:4
5who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Philippians 1:6, Philippians 1:6, Ephesians 2:8, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 8:31
6Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been put to grief in various trials,
James 1:2, James 1:2, 1 Peter 5:10, 1 Peter 5:10, Romans 12:12
7that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ-
Job 23:10, Job 23:10, James 1:12, James 1:12, Isaiah 48:10
8whom not having seen you love; in whom, though now you do not see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory-
John 20:29, John 20:29, 2 Corinthians 5:7, 2 Corinthians 5:7, Romans 15:13
9receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Romans 6:22, Romans 6:22, James 1:21, James 1:21, Hebrews 11:13
10Concerning this salvation, the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you,
Matthew 13:17, Matthew 13:17, Luke 10:24, Luke 10:24, Luke 24:25
11searching for who or what kind of time the Spirit of Christ, which was in them, pointed to, when he predicted the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that would follow them.
2 Peter 1:21, 2 Peter 1:21, Isaiah 52:13, Isaiah 52:14, Romans 8:9
12To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, they ministered these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.
John 15:26, John 15:26, 1 Corinthians 2:10, Ephesians 3:10, 1 Corinthians 2:10
13Therefore, prepare your minds for action, be sober and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ-
1 Peter 5:8, 1 Peter 5:8, Luke 12:35, Luke 12:35, 1 Peter 4:7
14as children of obedience, not conforming yourselves according to your former lusts as in your ignorance,
Romans 12:2, Romans 12:2, 1 Peter 4:2, 1 Peter 4:3, Titus 3:3
15but just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior;
Matthew 5:48, Matthew 5:48, 2 Corinthians 7:1, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Hebrews 12:14
16because it is written, "You shall be holy; for I am holy."
Leviticus 11:44, Leviticus 11:44, Leviticus 19:2, Leviticus 19:2, Leviticus 20:7
17If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, pass the time of your living as foreigners here in reverent fear:
Acts 10:34, Acts 10:35, Acts 10:34, Acts 10:35, 2 Chronicles 19:7
18knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,
1 Corinthians 6:20, 1 Corinthians 6:20, 1 Corinthians 7:23, 1 Corinthians 7:23, Psalms 49:7
19but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ;
1 John 1:7, 1 John 1:7, 1 Peter 2:22, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Peter 2:22
20who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was revealed at the end of times for your sake,
Ephesians 1:4, Ephesians 1:4, 2 Timothy 1:9, 2 Timothy 1:10, 2 Timothy 1:9
21who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead, and gave Him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God.
Acts 2:24, Acts 2:24, Hebrews 2:9, Hebrews 2:9, John 12:44
22Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from a pure heart fervently:
1 Timothy 1:5, 1 Timothy 1:5, Hebrews 13:1, Hebrews 13:1, Romans 12:9
23having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living and abiding Word of God.
1 Peter 1:3, 1 Peter 1:3, Hebrews 4:12, Hebrews 4:12, John 3:3
24For, "All flesh is like grass, and all it's glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls;
Isaiah 40:6, Isaiah 40:8, Isaiah 40:6, Isaiah 40:8, Psalms 103:15
25but the word of the Lord endures forever." This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.
Isaiah 40:8, Isaiah 40:8, Matthew 5:18, Psalms 119:89, 1 Corinthians 15:1
