Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Passive faith is weak faith. Spiritual strength requires active vigilance. Plant your feet, hold your ground, and refuse to be moved.

Lord, I take my stand today. I will be alert, firm, courageous, and strong. I will not drift; I will not back down. Strengthen me for the battle. Amen.
