Romans 6:4
"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. The old has gone; the new has come!

Father, thank You that my old self is buried with Christ. Fill me with Your Spirit so I can walk in the newness of life today. Amen.
