God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Before we stride into the new year, we must remember where our security lies. It's not in our plans, our bank accounts, or our resolutions. It is in God alone, our safe place.

God, You are my Hiding Place. When the future feels uncertain, I run to You. Thank You for being my strength when I am weak. Amen.
