When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. Obedience is often inconvenient. Joseph chose obedience over reputation. His quiet obedience protected the Savior.

Father, help me to obey You instantly and fully, even when it costs me my reputation or comfort. I want to be a protector of Your promises. Amen.
