"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? Salt preserves and flavors. You are here to stop the decay of the world and bring the flavor of God's grace.

Lord, keep me salty. Use me to preserve goodness and bring Your flavor to my community. Prevent me from becoming bland and ineffective. Amen.
