ZECHARIAH

Zechariah 11

1Open your doors, Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars.
Jeremiah 22:6, Jeremiah 22:7, Jeremiah 22:6, Jeremiah 22:7, Jeremiah 22:23
2Wail, fir tree, for the cedar has fallen, because the stately ones are destroyed. Wail, you oaks of Bashan, for the strong forest has come down.
Isaiah 32:15, Isaiah 32:19, Amos 6:1, Isaiah 2:12, Isaiah 2:17
3A voice of the wailing of the shepherds! For their glory is destroyed: a voice of the roaring of young lions! For the pride of the Jordan is ruined.
Jeremiah 50:44, Jeremiah 50:44, Jeremiah 25:34, Jeremiah 25:36, Jeremiah 25:34
4Thus says the Lord my God: "Feed the flock of slaughter.
Zechariah 11:7, Zechariah 11:7, Matthew 23:37, Matthew 23:37, Micah 5:4
5Their buyers slaughter them, and go unpunished. Those who sell them say, 'Blessed be the Lord, for I am rich;' and their own shepherds do not pity them.
Jeremiah 50:7, Jeremiah 50:7, 1 Timothy 6:5, 1 Timothy 6:10, Hosea 12:8
6For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land," says the Lord; "but, behold, I will deliver the men everyone into his neighbor's hand, and into the hand of his king. They will strike the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them."
Jeremiah 13:14, Jeremiah 13:14, Matthew 22:7, Isaiah 9:19, Isaiah 9:21
7So I fed the flock of slaughter, especially the oppressed of the flock. I took for myself two staffs. The one I called "Favor," and the other I called "Union," and I fed the flock.
Zechariah 11:14, Isaiah 11:4, Zechariah 11:4, Zechariah 11:14, Isaiah 11:4
8I cut off the three shepherds in one month; for my soul was weary of them, and their soul also loathed me.
Isaiah 49:7, John 15:18, Matthew 23:34, Matthew 23:36, John 7:7
9Then I said, "I will not feed you. That which dies, let it die; and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let those who are left eat each other's flesh."
Jeremiah 43:11, Matthew 13:10, Matthew 13:11, Jeremiah 43:11, Matthew 13:10
10I took my staff Favor, and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant that I had made with all the peoples.
Zechariah 11:7, Zechariah 11:7, Psalms 89:39, Psalms 89:39, Jeremiah 31:31
11It was broken in that day; and thus the poor of the flock that listened to me knew that it was the word of the Lord.
Zephaniah 3:12, Zephaniah 3:12, Luke 7:22, Romans 11:7, Romans 11:12
12I said to them, "If you think it best, give me my wages; and if not, keep them." So they weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
Matthew 26:15, Matthew 26:15, Exodus 21:32, Exodus 21:32, Mark 14:10
13The Lord said to me, "Throw it to the potter, the handsome price that I was valued at by them!" I took the thirty pieces of silver, and threw them to the potter, in the house of the Lord.
Matthew 27:3, Matthew 27:10, Matthew 27:3, Matthew 27:10, Acts 1:18
14Then I cut apart my other staff, even Union, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
Isaiah 9:21, Isaiah 9:21, Zechariah 11:9, Acts 23:7, Acts 23:10
15The Lord said to me, "Take for yourself yet again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.
Isaiah 6:10, Isaiah 6:12, Isaiah 6:10, Isaiah 6:12, Lamentations 2:14
16For, behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not visit those who are cut off, neither will seek those who are scattered, nor heal that which is broken, nor feed that which is sound; but he will eat the flesh of the fat sheep, and will tear their hoofs in pieces.
Jeremiah 23:2, Ezekiel 34:2, Ezekiel 34:6, Jeremiah 23:2, Ezekiel 34:2
17Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! The sword will be on his arm, and on his right eye. His arm will be completely withered, and his right eye will be totally blinded!"
Jeremiah 23:1, Jeremiah 23:1, Ezekiel 13:3, Ezekiel 13:3, 1 Corinthians 8:4
