MATTHEW

Matthew 6

1Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 23:5, Matthew 23:5, John 12:43, John 12:43, Hebrews 6:10
2Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:5, Matthew 6:5, Matthew 6:16, Matthew 6:16, James 2:15
3But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
John 7:4, John 7:4, Matthew 9:30, Matthew 9:30, Mark 1:44
4That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:18, Matthew 6:18, Matthew 6:6, Matthew 6:6, Jeremiah 17:10
5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:2, Matthew 6:2, Luke 18:13, Luke 18:13, Luke 18:10
6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
2 Kings 4:33, 2 Kings 4:33, Matthew 14:23, Matthew 14:23, Isaiah 65:24
7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Ecclesiastes 5:2, Ecclesiastes 5:3, Ecclesiastes 5:2, Ecclesiastes 5:3, Ecclesiastes 5:7
8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Matthew 6:32, Matthew 6:32, Luke 12:30, Luke 12:30, Philippians 4:6
9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Luke 11:1, Luke 11:4, Luke 11:1, Luke 11:4, Revelation 4:11
10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Hebrews 10:36, Hebrews 10:36, John 4:34, Matthew 26:42, John 4:34
11Give us this day our daily bread.
Proverbs 30:8, Proverbs 30:8, Luke 11:3, Luke 11:3, Matthew 4:4
12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Ephesians 4:32, Ephesians 4:32, Mark 11:25, Mark 11:25, Ephesians 1:7
13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
1 Corinthians 10:13, 1 Corinthians 10:13, John 17:15, Revelation 7:14, Revelation 7:17
14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Ephesians 4:32, Ephesians 4:32, Mark 11:25, Mark 11:25, Colossians 3:13
15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 18:35, Matthew 18:35
16Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Isaiah 58:3, Isaiah 58:5, Isaiah 58:3, Isaiah 58:5, Matthew 9:14
17But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
Ruth 3:3, Ruth 3:3, Ecclesiastes 9:8, Ecclesiastes 9:8, 2 Samuel 12:20
18That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:6, Matthew 6:6, Matthew 6:4, Matthew 6:4, 2 Corinthians 10:18
19Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Hebrews 13:5, Hebrews 13:5, 1 John 2:15, 1 John 2:16, 1 John 2:15
20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Luke 12:33, Luke 12:33, Matthew 19:21, Matthew 19:21, James 2:5
21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Colossians 3:1, Colossians 3:3, Colossians 3:1, Colossians 3:3, 2 Corinthians 4:18
22The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Luke 11:34, Luke 11:36, Luke 11:34, Luke 11:36, 2 Corinthians 11:3
23But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
1 John 2:11, 1 John 2:11, Matthew 6:22, Matthew 6:22, Isaiah 5:20
24No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
1 John 2:15, 1 John 2:16, 1 John 2:15, 1 John 2:16, Luke 16:13
25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Philippians 4:6, Philippians 4:6, 1 Peter 5:7, 1 Peter 5:7, Romans 8:32
26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Luke 12:25, Luke 12:26, Luke 12:25, Luke 12:26, Ecclesiastes 3:14
28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
2 Chronicles 9:20, 2 Chronicles 9:22, 2 Chronicles 9:20, 2 Chronicles 9:22, 2 Chronicles 9:4
30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 14:31, Luke 12:28, Matthew 14:31, Luke 12:28, 1 Peter 1:24
