What Does Proverbs 19:26 Mean?

He who does violence to his father and chases away his mother (im-mo) is a son who causes shame (me-bish) and brings reproach. The Father registers every word and every motive that drives our interactions within the home, identifying himself as the one who sustains the faithful through every season.
