What Does Proverbs 16:30 Mean?

The internal movements of a person's mind are often visible in the subtle gestures and the physical markers of their character. The Lord (adonai) registers every motive and every secret deed, identifying himself as the witness to our most private thoughts. To use our mental energy to plot the harm of others is a direct rejection of the Creator's design for human flourishing. This divine oversight ensures that the structures built on deceit eventually reach a limit where they can no longer be sustained. The Lord honors the person who maintains a heart of transparency and a mind that is focused on the truth. God watches the hidden parts of our lives, regarding our internal state as the measure of our character.
