What Does Proverbs 14:18 Mean?

God honors the person who values wisdom enough to work for it, granting them a foundation that remains stable even when cultural trends change.

The apostle James described the life of faith as a journey that requires a specific kind of wisdom from above, which is first pure, then peaceable and gentle (James 3:17). He warned against the kind of double-minded drifting that leaves a person unstable in all their ways.
