When the Savior finally appeared, He identified Himself directly as the Good Shepherd, voluntarily laying down His very life exclusively for His beloved sheep (John 10:11). Christ ignored the aggressive, political demands of a roaring, rebellious world, prioritizing the intimate, bloody, and obscure work of eternally rescuing His vulnerable, broken flock from the jaws of ultimate death.
