My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves. Discipline is not rejection; it is refined affection. God loves you too much to leave you as you are.

Father, thank You for loving me enough to discipline me. Help me to accept Your correction without resentment, knowing it is for my good. Amen.
