"이 말씀을 마치시고 저희 보는 데서 올리워 가시니 구름이 저를 가리워 보이지 않게 하더라"

이 말씀을 마치시고 그들이 보는데 올려져 가시니 구름이 그를 가리어 보이지 않게 하더라. 승천일은 예수님이 단순한 역사적 인물이 아님을 상기시켜준다. 그분은 지금 하늘에서 통치하시는 높임을 받으신 왕이시다。
